The project was birthed before my craft was at the level necessary to execute the production of the whole series. Once the thousands of hours of brainstorming and planning took place I was able to come up with a first draft/proof of concept for the overall look of Low Key Gold.
With the final look I hope to convey the beauty within the struggle of an up and coming artist/creative that grew up listening to the hustler's mentality of hip-hop greats.
Spent many hours gathering footage and assets from around town in order to produce the open and give it the feel and energy that I initially envisioned.
One of the first interviews covered the music and mind of a local hip-hop/RnB producer.
The first 5 episodes will hopefully inspire other creators within the local area to share, support, and become a part of the Low Key Gold community.
One of the interviews covers the journey and art of a local African-American Sushi Chef.
You know your boy ate good that day.
